Waterproofing in Wellington, Paarl & the Winelands
SABS-approved products. SANTAM-registered. Free on-site quote within 24 hours.
Why waterproofing matters now
The first heavy Western Cape rains expose every weakness in a building: roof leaks, rising damp, pooled stormwater, blocked gutters. Fixing it now beats fixing it after a ceiling collapses or a damp wall ruins fresh paint. The window between the first front and the worst weather is short. If you have spotted a damp patch this week, get a free assessment before the next front lands.

Frequently asked questions
How long does waterproofing last?
Most modern systems last 7-15 years if applied correctly to a clean, dry surface. The lifespan depends on three things: the product (cheap acrylics fail in 3-5 years, SABS-approved torch-on membranes go 15+), the substrate prep, and the workmanship. We give a written guarantee on every job.
Is rising damp the same as a roof leak?
No, and treating one as the other is the most common reason damp comes back. Rising damp moves up through the wall from the ground because the damp-proof course has failed or was never installed. A roof leak comes down. We diagnose the cause first, then choose the system, then quote.
Do you do insurance work?
Yes. We are SANTAM-registered, which means we are an approved service provider on the South African insurance panel. We can quote against insurance specifications, complete the work, and supply the documentation your assessor needs. We have done this for storm damage, burst geysers, and water ingress claims.
Do you give written quotes?
Yes, every quote is in writing, itemised, and emailed within 24 hours of the on-site assessment. The quote includes the system we recommend, the area to be covered in m², the warranty period, and the payment terms. No hidden extras.
Which areas do you cover?
Our core area is the Winelands: Paarl, Wellington, Franschhoek, Stellenbosch, and the Worcester fringes (roughly a 30-kilometre radius around Wellington). We travel further for larger jobs and for repeat clients. If you are outside that area, call us, we will tell you honestly whether the travel is worth it for the size of the job.
